QIGONG INSTRUCTOR: Simon Thackery
Running continuously every Wednesday.
Have you ever wanted 'the agility and flexibility of a flying dragon and the relaxed power of a pouncing tiger'? Probably not, or not something you've ever thought of anyway! But what about a set of exercises designed to help keep the lungs (represented by the dragon) and the liver (represented by the tiger) strong and healthy?
In fact, Dragon and Tiger Qigong works to benefit all the insides of your body, the bits essential for your good health and well-being throughout your life. By learning to move and feel the chi in the etheric field around your body, you'll be able to influence the energy meridians inside your body.
These exercises have been used for hundreds of years in China to shift stagnant qi. This stagnant qi is believed to be the cause/result of physical and emotional blockages that can lead to ill health. You don't need to know where all the meridians in your body are or anything about them (I don't!) to benefit, you just need to practise the exercises.
