SENIOR INSTRUCTOR PAUL CAVEL

ACTIVATING & INTEGRATING THE THREE LEADERS

When beginning qigong, tai chi and/or bagua practice, you quickly learn that the kwa is the engine of all movements and serves as the "leader". The engine produces power and the leader leads by initiating all motion.

However, as you progress, what powers and leads changes in order to deepen and advance embodiment of (internal) neigong. You then cycle through the kwa, the spine and the lower tantien as the power generator and the leader — until they are all alive within your form. Next you work towards balancing all three, so that they can integrate into one whole, one unified engine of your practice.

All students are welcome to join us for Heaven and Earth Qigong on Friday (optional), and the weekend to learn or refine choreography and essential (internal) neigong. Existing tai chi and bagua stylists are welcome to join the tai chi or bagua groups on the weekend.
